Alicia Franco Martinez

Alicia Franco Martinez passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona. Alicia was born January 1, 1948, in Morenci, Arizona to Francisco D. and Delia Parra Franco.

She spent her elementary days in Solomon, Arizona eventually graduating from Safford High School in 1967. After graduation Alicia stayed in Solomon then later moved to Tucson, Arizona where she resided until her passing.

Alicia worked for West Cap for many years as an assembler then worked for a senior living facility as a housekeeper. Her greatest pleasure was attending her United Pentecostal Church, reading her bible and spending time with family and friends.

Alicia Franco Martinez is survived by her five brothers: Francisco X. Franco (Terri) of Tucson; Armando Franco (Carmen) of Dudleyville; David Franco (Wanda) of Grand View, Missouri; Jesse Franco (Dawn) of Tucson and Noel Franco of Tucson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Alicia is preceded in death by her parents Francisco D. and Delia Parra Franco, and husband Jesus Martinez.

A viewing for Alicia was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel followed by final committal in the Safford Union Cemetery.
