A 911 call to report domestic violence results in the arrest of the reporting party

A woman called 911 Saturday afternoon and said that the couple her and her husband shared a residence with had assaulted her and her husband. When deputies arrived they found the opposite to be true. The woman’s husband said that the other couple had disrespected him when he tried to talk to them about how loud they were being. That led to an argument, which spilled out of the house where the reporting party’s husband punched the other couple’s car. The reporting party’s husband allegedly shoved the opposing woman out of the way while arguing with the man, then punched him in the shoulder.

Seeing how angry the man was, the opposing couple decided to leave the residence for a while and the woman went back into the house to retrieve some things before leaving. When the two men outside heard arguing in the house, the reporting party’s husband rushed back into the residence and physically dragged the woman outside. While trying to fend him off the woman grabbed a metal object and hit him with it. The reporting parties pointed to the small cuts the man had on his face as proof that the other couple was at fault.

After hearing both sides of the story, deputies determined that the reporting party was at fault for the altercation and took the husband to jail. The other couple gathered some belongings and left the residence.
