SAFFORD — The United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties is making it easier to support programs in the Gila Valley.
In addition to donating through payroll deduction for employees with Freeport-McMoRan, City of Safford, Town of Thatcher and Graham County; individuals can now make donations.
By donating directly to the local United Way, every dollar goes back into the community.
Donations can be made monthly, quarterly, yearly or individuals can make a one-time donation. Recommended donation amounts are listed on the platform, but donors can specify any amount.
In October, United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties distributed $127,204.14 to local schools and nonprofit organizations.
