SAFFORD — Gila Valley Indivisible wants people to cool off while they help out.
Indivisible is hosting an ice cream social to help Mt. Graham Safe House.
“We’re hoping that people will bring donations for the Safe House; things like shampoo, conditioner, hair accessories, body wash, etc.,” said Sandra Lewis with Gila Valley Indivisible.
Also needed are feminine hygiene products and pet supplies.
The free ice cream social will take place Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Lexington Pines Activity Center.
