THATCHER, Ariz. – Young basketball players from across the region are invited to improve their skills this summer at the 2026 Gila Monster Hoopsters Basketball Camp hosted by the Eastern Arizona College Men’s Basketball program.
The three-day camp will be held June 22-24 in the Guitteau Gymnasium and is designed to help participants develop basketball fundamentals while learning from the EA coaching staff.
Camp sessions are available for boys entering grades 2-8. Players entering grades 2-4 will participate from 9 a.m. to Noon each day, while players entering grades 5-8 will attend from 1 to 4 p.m.
Throughout the camp, participants will receive hands-on instruction focused on fundamental basketball skills and techniques. Camp activities will emphasize dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, teamwork, and overall game development.
In addition to skill instruction, campers will have opportunities to apply what they learn through drills and game situations designed to build confidence and improve their understanding of the sport.
The Gila Monster Hoopsters Basketball Camp is intended to provide a fun and positive environment where young athletes can develop their abilities while learning from experienced coaches and interacting with fellow players who share a passion for the game.
Registration is $85 per participant. Families registering more than one child may complete multiple registrations in a single transaction through the college’s online registration system.
