SAFFORD — Demand for the hospital’s first casino night fund-raiser has been so great, the event is moving to a larger location.
The inaugural Casino Royale fund-raiser, presented by the Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Foundation and United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, will now take place at the Manor 415 Convention Center on Friday, May 1, from 6-9 p.m.
The casino night is raising funds for expansion of the hospital’s Emergency Department and surgical suites. The initial plan is to expand the number of emergency room areas from 17 to 25 — in order to keep wait times to a maximum of four hours — plus add six surgical suites.
Tickets are $100 each and purchasers receive $100 in chips and two drink tickets. Plus there will be entertainment and prizes.
In addition to purchasing tickets, local businesses and patrons can support the fund-raiser through sponsorships, including:
- $1,500 Roulette Rocker — entry for two guests, $1,000 in chips for each guest, four drink tickets and social media recognition
- $3,000 Black Jack Boss — entry for four guests, $1,000 in chips for each guest, eight drink tickets, name/logo recognition on tally voucher and social media recognition
- $5,000 High Roller — entry for eight guests, $1,500 in chips for each guest, 16 drink tickets, name/logo recognition on chip voucher, MC recognition throughout the evening and social media recognition
