SAFFORD — This December, luminaria once again line the sidewalks and main entrance of Mount Graham Regional Medical Center, glowing in honor of those loved and in remembrance of those lost.

There’s still time to light the hospital with hope by purchasing a lantern in honor or memory of someone special. The name of each person honored will be displayed on the front lawn near the hospital’s main entrance, shining brightly throughout the Christmas season.

Cost is $100 for a new lantern or $75 to renew a lantern from last year.

All proceeds benefit the MGRMC Foundation, which funds essential projects that directly impact patient care — from new fetal monitoring equipment in the OB Department and upgraded treatment chairs in the Cancer Center, to advanced imaging technology, ER monitoring systems, and nursing scholarships.
