SAFFORD — Roper Lake State Park announced it will host its first ever Star Party this fall.
High-powered telescopes, courtesy of the Tucson Amateur Astronomy Association, will allow participants to view the stars in the night sky.
The Star Party will take place Friday, Oct. 17, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Island Day Use area.
Participation is free with park entry. Spots are limited and reservations can be made now by clicking here.
