Man enters Pima home claiming to have been kidnapped

A man walked into a Pima area home late Monday afternoon claiming he had been kidnapped by someone in a white van. The man was reportedly acting erratically and the reporting party told authorities they believed he was intoxicated.

When deputies arrived, they found the man outside the residence. The man identified himself to law enforcement and said that he had been smoking marijuana but denied using any other drugs.

The homeowners told authorities they did not want to press charges; they just wanted him removed from the premises.

The man was transported to a hotel in the area at his request and no charges were filed.
