Rachel Christine Sigala, 66, of Safford, AZ, entered eternal rest on December 28, 2024.
Rachel was born in Morenci, AZ, the daughter of Jesus and Patricia Sigala. Rachel moved to Safford, AZ, with her family and raised an amazing daughter, Rebecca. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and Tia.
Rachel was a homemaker for her family. Often watching her daughter, nieces, and nephews grow up. Rachel was a strong-minded woman. Rachel enjoyed the casino, bingo, novellas, and more recently taking vacations to Las Vegas, NV, Laughlin, NV, Goodyear, AZ and Mesa, AZ with her daughter, Rebecca, nephews Paul, Alex, Sebastian, Ormando, nieces Vanessa, Jennifer, and Skyler, her cousins Tony, Diana, and Dallas Moran. She was a max better and got very lucky in some jackpots!
Rachel made amazing friendships throughout her life, she spent time with Patsy and Elda, often shopping, concerts, bingo, and chit chatting over memories and current events going on in life. Rachel will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Rachel is survived by: brothers, Phillip, Micheal, Ernest, and Joseph; sister, Susan; nephews, Paul, Sebastian, Gilbert, Alex, Anthony, Aiden, Alex Jr, Greyson, Richard, Mike, Victor, and Jojo; nieces, Vanessa, Jennifer, Eleana, Patricia, Anastasia, Lori, Yvonne, and McKayla.
Rachel was preceded in death by: her mother, Patricia Sigala; father, Joe Sigala; and her sister, Gloria Sigala.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rachel will be celebrated Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church by Rev. Richard Awange. Committal will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
A rosary and prayers for Rachel will be offered Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Family will receive friends Friday evening, January 10, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home.
