Eastern Arizona College Dominates in First Game of 2025, Defeats Truman College 90-50

The Eastern Arizona College (EAC) Gila Monsters started the new year with a commanding 90-50 victory over Harry S. Truman College on Thursday night. The win extended their impressive streak to 11 games and improved their record to 14-1 on the season.

The Gila Monsters were in control from the opening tip, building a 44-26 lead by halftime. Kaden Ericksen led the way with a standout performance, scoring 19 points to pace EAC. Amari Carraway contributed across the board with 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, while JT Elder added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Felix Smedjeback also reached double figures with 10 points.

The Gila Monsters were relentless on both ends of the court, shooting 43.9% from the field while holding the Falcons to a 27.8%. EAC dominated inside, racking up 46 points in the paint and capitalizing on 20 Truman turnovers to generate 25 points.

For the Falcons, Aidan Parker recorded a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Raymond Grant chipped in 18 points, but Truman struggled to find consistent offense against EAC’s stifling defense.
