SAFFORD — The Safford Police, along with the Eastern Arizona DUI Taskforce and the Graham County Substance Abuse Coalition, will conduct a safe holiday event this weekend.
Be Bright, Drive Right will take place Saturday, Dec. 7, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Walmart parking lot.
Safford Police will have information about the perils of driving while impaired, and the value of designating a driver for holiday activities.
Plus the Substance Abuse Coalition will have activities for kids, a Kool-Aid party for teens, and Santa Claus will visit with boys and girls.
The event is free.
