Graham County Sheriff’s Office gets $60K from GOHS for DUI enforcement

SAFFORD — The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has awarded the Graham County Sheriff’s Office grants for the current fiscal year.

The funds will be used to pay for overtime expenses for special projects as it relates to DUI/impaired driving enforcement and other Southeast DUI Task Force events.

GCSO received $32,530 as well $28,000 for STEP Enforcement.

The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety makes funds available to assist law enforcement throughout the State of Arizona in an effort to make the roadways safer.

“The Graham County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety for providing these funds,” a prepared release by the Sheriff’s Office read.
