SAFFORD — City of Safford is reminding motorists to add extra travel time when U.S. Highway 191 in the city.
Arizona Department of Transportation crews are milling the roadway between 8th Street and Discovery Park Boulevard, resulting in lane restrictions and slower speeds.
ADOT is Removing existing asphaltic concrete and replacing it with new asphaltic friction course pavement, reconstructing driveways and installing new pavement markings.
The work is expected to be complete sometime in the fall.
