Arizona (Again) Has the 3rd Worst School System in America – WalletHub Study

Four years running, the personal-finance website WalletHub has released a yearly report of the best and worst school systems in America. All four of those years, Arizona schools have ranked the third worst in the nation. This year’s report, again, ranks Arizona schools very near the bottom.

For the study, WalletHub compared the 50 states and the District of Columbia across 32 key measures of quality and safety. The data set ranges from the pupil-teacher ratio and dropout rate to median standardized-test scores.

  • 47th – Dropout Rate
  • 43rd – Bullying Incidence Rate
  • 38th – % of Threatened/Injured High School Students
  • 33rd – Existence of Digital Learning Plan
