SAFFORD — Three projects received funding from United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties in July, as well as one event sponsorship.
The United Way announced Monday the projects include:
- $3,786 for portable sinks for Pima Elementary School’s kindergarten class
- $2,201.44 for operating materials for Gila Valley Samaritan Home
- $1,037.85 for Health class materials and supplies for Bonita Elementary School
The event sponsorship was also education related — $4,960 for the Greenlee County Health Department’s backpack drive.
United Way receives its funding from Freeport-McMoRan, Freeport employees, City of Safford Employees, Graham County employees and private donors.
