CLIFTON — Those seeking to gather with friends to proclaim “Erin go Braugh” this St. Patrick’s Day will have two opportunities.
The Greenlee County Tourism Committee is putting on the St. Patrick’s Day Frisco River Festival Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the soccer fields on Park Avenue.
“Live entertainment, food trucks, vendors; there’s going to be so much fun going on,” said Stephanie Rae with the Tourism Committee, who added that the Clifton Fire Department will also be grilling hamburgers and hot dogs free for all who attend.
The family-friendly event is sponsored by Burke’s Valley Sanitation, Green Leaf Dispensary, The Little Frisco, Morenci Dental, Union Hall Bed and Breakfast, Morenci Chiropractor, Rose Hill Wellness, Jacqueline Colvin LMT, Dina’s Karinderya, American Legion Lloyd C. Hill Post 28 and Clifton Hotel and Bar.
Those seeking a more of an adult outing can join the Graham County Chamber of Commerce for a St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl, Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
“It’s got JD’s Bar and Grill, Sarah’s Bullpen, Trailhead Hideaway, American Club, Copper Steer and Shane’s Place; it’s going to be a crazy time. We’ve got some people already signed up,” said Vance Bryce, executive director for the Chamber of Commerce.
