SAFFORD — The Safford Downtown Association is seeking sponsors for this year’s Merry Main Street event. However, sponsors don’t have to come up with any money, just time.
The SDA is asking sponsors to provide responsible adult volunteers for the games and activities that are provided free to the public during the event.
Needed sponsorships are:
● Ultimate basketball toss (two volunteers)
● Snowball toss (two volunteers)
● Christmas train (two volunteers)
● Christmas trivia (one volunteer)
● Christmas carousel (four volunteers)
● Balloon twister (one volunteer)
● Face painting (one volunteer)
● Mountains of snow (two volunteers)
● Santa Claus (two volunteers)
● Christmas bingo (three volunteers)
● Football challenge (two volunteers)
● Karaoke (one volunteer)
● Kiddie Korral (six volunteers)
● Snowball challenge (two volunteers)

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Merry Main Street will take place Friday, Nov. 24, from 5:30-8 p.m., in Safford’s Downtown on Main Street.
