Ragland, Landau appointed to Graham County bench

SAFFORD — The Graham County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the appointment of two to the position of judge pro tempore for Graham County Superior Court.

“We (have) a high level of confidence in (Presiding Superior Court) Judge (Michael) Peterson’s recommendations,” said Supervisor Paul David.

Re-appointed as full-time Judge Pro Tempore was Travis Ragland, making 2022 his fourth year on the bench.

Appointed to the part-time judge pro tempore position was Jerry Landau, who previous served in that capacity with Graham, La Paz and Maricopa counties from November 2004 to January 2021. He currently serves as senior consultant to the administrative office of the Arizona Supreme Court, and will provide judge pro tempore services to Graham County at no cost.
