SBDC continuing webinars to aid small business survival

THATCHER – To help small business owners navigate the options presented in the COVID-19 Economic Stimulus Bill, Eastern Arizona College’s Small Business Development Center is conducting a series of webinars.

The next webinar will take place today, April 13, at 3 p.m., followed by a webinar Wednesday, April 15, at 9 a.m., with another Friday, April 17 at noon.

“We’re kind of the front line. You know you have the hospitals that are front line taking care of the sick; we’re front line with small business,” SBDC Director Kevin Peck said during a previous webinar. “We’ve been working dark-to-dark here for three weeks now, trying to get small business through this.”

In the description of the webinar, the SBDC said it will be discussing Economic Injury Disaster Loans and the Payroll Protection Plan.

“We will provide general information on both lending programs and what is required for the application process. There will be a question and answer time at the end of the webinar,” is how the webinar is described.
