Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Virginia Ruth Brown, passed into eternity on June 5, 2023, at the age of 92. She was born on July 30, 1930 in Churubusco, Indiana to Ralph Pressler & Ursula Ott Pressler joining her brothers Phillip and Ralph Jr.
Virginia attended school in Churubusco, graduating from high school following her senior year. On December 28, 1951, she married her beloved husband Frederick L. Brown, in Tucson, Arizona. They were blessed with two sons; Frederick & Steven Brown.
Virginia was a wonderful homemaker and wife who spent her time lovingly caring for her home and her family. She truly enjoyed playing the organ for her church but her most meaningful events were the births of each of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
She will be dearly missed by her sons Frederick (Mabel) Brown and Steven (Cathy) Brown, her nine grandchildren; Devin, Stephanie, Kevin, Robert, Kyle, Shawnee, Travis, Aolani, and Meishara. She also leaves behind six great-grandchildren.
Virginia is preceded in death by her beloved husband Frederick L. Brown, her parents Ralph & Ursula Pressler, and her brother Ralph Jr.
A viewing will be held on Friday, June 23rd at 10:00 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 at the McDougal’s Caldwell Funeral Chapel with interment in the Thatcher Cemetery.
