SAFFORD — The 8/9/10 year old all-star tournament wrapped up last night at the Graham County Fairgrounds with a 12-2 Mt. Graham win over Morenci-Clifton to capture the district 11 Championship.
With that win, Mt. Graham LL swept all age groups in the district. Minor and Major baseball and softball teams will all be on the road in July to play in their respective state tournaments.
The Mt. Graham LL minors (8/9/10) baseball squad will head to Gilbert from July 13th through 20th. Their first game will be Saturday, July 13th at 10am at McQuade Park Field 5 against Prescott LL. This is a double elimination tournament.
The Mt. Graham LL majors (10/11/12) baseball all-stars will head down to Sierra Vista and will take on Coolidge LL in their first game of the double elimination tournament. The tournament is scheduled from July 15th through July 27th.
On the softball side, Mt. Graham minors and majors will both head to Cottonwood for their tournaments. The minors will play Randolph LL from Tucson on July 8th at 8pm on Field 3. The majors will take on Casa Grande LL on July 5th at 6pm on Field 2. Both tournaments are double elimination.
