SAFFORD — The annual Halloween Carnival for children 2- to 5-years-old will take place Thursday at the Safford City-Graham County Library.

The programming room will be filled with games and activities especially selected to help with a child’s development of gross and fine motor skills. And the event closes with a favorite activity.

“At 11:30, they will have their little costume parade,” said Elizabeth Henley, Early Literacy coordinator. “I say little but, really, there’s 50-plus kids in the costume parade through the library, trick-or-treating at the Circulation desk. Oh, we have a ball.”

The annual Halloween Carnival will run from 10-11:30 a.m. Admission is free.
