GRAHAM COUNTY — Domestic Violence is not just males harming females — Graham County Sheriff’s deputies recently encountered the opposite.
A man called into dispatch on July 29, reporting that he had been slapped by his girlfriend during an argument.
Deputies spoke with the woman, who reportedly admitted to hitting the man, as well as taking the phone out of the man’s hands as he called law enforcement. After taking the phone, the woman claimed the victim then “tackled” her to the ground and retrieved his phone. The victim did not press charges, only asking that the woman leave the residence.
Deputies allowed the woman to leave and filed a report on the incident.
