A white pickup truck eastbound on Highway 70 in Safford reportedly ran a red light at the intersection of Highway 191 and went over the front of a gray passenger car, which sent the truck onto its side and onto the sidewalk in front of Speedway gas station. The accident occurred at approximately 3:30 pm today (Monday, August 14, 2023).
Witnesses said that the driver of the truck was hanging out the driver’s side window and that bystanders helped pull the driver out of the vehicle.
As of this writing there is no information available about the condition of the driver or the occupants of the other vehicle.
