THATCHER — “In the Moment,” the 18th annual Southeastern Arizona Substance Awareness Symposium will take place Thursday, Sept. 21, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Lee Little Theater at Eastern Arizona College.
The symposium will feature a number of expert speakers, as well as workshops tailored to both teens and adults.
Workshops include:
● Leadership skills for youths
● Mental health awareness for adults
● Trauma and resilience for both youth and adults
● Negative effects of substance use for both youths and adults
