GRAHAM COUNTY — The Southeastern Arizona Sportsmen Club is heading to Frye Mesa this weekend to help the local fauna.
The club will work on water tanks for native animals on the mesa and is seeking volunteers who want to help, as well as see what the club does with the money it receives from grants and fund-raising.
Volunteers are asked to gather as many as possible and bring them via side-by-side, 4×4, Jeep or other all-terrain vehicle. Meet up is 8 a.m. Saturday on Frye Mesa Road by Carter’s Custom Cuts.
After the work is completed, volunteers will be served a lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs and drinks.
