Miss Nature bringing the 2025 Arizona Pride Tour to Safford

SAFFORD — Saying it’s time to reach out to an LGBTQ+ community “with little to no resources,” a Tucson-based performer announced a drag show will be coming to the Gila Valley next year.

Miss Nature announced that Safford is one stop on the eight-city 2025 Arizona Pride Tour.

“We have done work all over the state, in almost every county, but have yet to travel to Graham County. It is appealing as I grew up in a small town that is similar to Safford, also known for being a prison town — Florence,” Miss Nature said in a message to Gila Valley Central.

“Next year, we plan to branch into New Mexico and this in that direction. We realize there is a large LGBTQ+ community in the area with little to no resources. We look forward to building that community, as we try to do in any city we travel to.”

Miss Nature said VIP tickets for the Safford show are almost sold out, seven months before the event.

The show is described as “bringing the art of drag and open mindedness to one city and community at a time.” Each stop on the tour will include eight entertainers, doing two numbers each, for a two-hour show.

The 2025 Arizona Pride Tour includes stops at:

  • Lake Havasu City — Feb. 1 (two shows)
  • Ajo — Feb. 15
  • Show Low — March 8
  • Cottonwood — March 22
  • Blythe, Calif. — April 12
  • Yuma — April 13
  • Safford — April 26
  • Florence — May 10

All shows start at 7 p.m., except Lake Havasu City where the shows start at 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and may be purchased by clicking here.

Location of the drag show will be released to ticket holders one week before the show. “We do not publically release the information for safety of the event,” Miss Nature said.

It won’t be the first drag show in the Gila Valley. In 2019, the LGBT and Friends Club at Eastern Arizona College held a Drag and Talent Show on campus.
