SAFFORD – Well, at least she showed up for court, right?
An officer took a report from a woman Oct. 24, who said her daughter, Taylor Moreno, had taken her mother’s truck without permission because Moreno was late for a court hearing.
The vehicle was described as a brown, 1999 Chevrolet single-cab pickup truck with oxidized paint.
The mother advised that Moreno might be headed to Phoenix in the vehicle. She later received a text from Moreno apologizing for taking the truck, according to the report.
The officer performed a search on Moreno and reported that she had an outstanding bench warrant for her arrest. The officer listed his report as regarding unlawful use of means of transportation.
As of Monday, Moreno had not been arrested by police.
