Safford Police Chief, Joe Brugman, to speak on crime and safety

Safford – Safford Friends of the Library will be hosting Safford Police Chief Joe Brugman for an informative meeting about the police department, local crime and public safety on Wednesday, March 14, 2018. Did you know that crime in Safford has decreased over the past four years? Chief Joseph Brugman will address community members and discuss police department training and initiatives for keeping our community safe. Following his graduation from Safford High, Chief Brugman spent nearly 30 years in various law enforcement positions in Chandler and Coolidge, AZ. Brugman holds Associates, Bachelors and Masters Degrees and has brought this training and experience to the Safford Police Department, serving as its Chief since 2014. From cyber-crime to the opioid crisis, join us for an informative crime and safety update from Safford’s law enforcement leader. Your concerns and questions are welcome.
