How and what to recycle?

Local recycling experts from Safford, Thatcher and SEACAB will be on hand to provide an update on area recycling and answer your questions wherever you live in Graham County.  A recycling craft and game will be held at the same time, so bring the children and grandchildren. How to keep your child safe online?

Every parent or caregiver should come to this eye-opening and useful presentation by Cade Bryce of the city of Safford’s Information Technology staff.  He will demonstrate how your child’s safety may be compromised online and how you can reduce the risk. The event will take place Tuesday, June 27 at 1 p.m.

How to lower your water bill?

Water conservation helps our community and your pocketbook.  Come and visit a leaky house to see how you might reduce your water usage.  City of Safford staff will be on hand to demonstrate the free AquaHawk water use monitoring system and to sign up interested users for the program.  A free Zumba class with Maria Kouts will be held at the same time, so bring the whole family. The event will take place Wednesday, July 12 at 1 p.m.
