Ora Allred, a resident of Safford and an elementary school teacher for over 40 years, entered into eternal life Tuesday morning, May 7, 2019, at the Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. Miss Allred was 67.
Ora leaves to mourn: her five brothers, Gary, Richard, Robert, Chris, and Max; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Ora was welcomed into Heaven by: her mother, Ellen Leora Damron Allred; and her father, Joseph Grant Allred; and her grandparents with whom we are sure she is having a glorious reunion.
Funeral services for Miss Allred were conducted Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Safford Stake Center by Bishop Joseph Robles of the Safford First Ward. Concluding services followed in the Thatcher Cemetery.
The family received friends Friday evening, May 17, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Saturday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Safford Stake Center Relief Society Room.
