Coach Hepper- “This is a great accomplishment for these two young men.  It’s a great accomplishment for our program as well.  It just shows the hard work and dedication from everyone that’s been a part of it.  I’m just happy for everyone involved the school, program, kids, family.  It’s perfect for it to happen at home on senior night as well.  It wasn’t planned that way back 4 years ago.  While they accomplished This milestone our other seniors Ryan Hayes, and Matt Silvester deserve tons of credit as well for being with these guys for years.”

The ‘Cats will host the 2A East Region Tournament as the #1 seed. This is the first conference championship for Morenci since the 1978 season. Regardless of the outcome of the region tournament, the Wildcats will qualify as a high seed for the 2A State Tournament.
