MGRMC announces location of 45th Annual Christmas House

The Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center Auxiliary has announced the location of the 45th Annual Christmas House. The 2018 fundraiser will be held in the home of Jennifer and Clifton Labrum at 695 North Diamond Springs Lane in Thatcher on November 2nd and 3rd.

The Auxiliary’s Christmas House Chair, Lori Monteith also announces some exciting changes in the annual event. First, there will be no admission tickets for entry on either day. $2.00 admission will be collected at the door. Second, for the first time, all hand made craft items will be available for purchase on both days. Third, the Friday evening hours are 5:00 to 8:00; Saturday hours are 9:00 to 12:00 noon. Finally, there will be musical entertainment again this year as it was so popular in 2017.

Many of the traditions to which the public has become accustomed will be repeated. Craft items will be hand made. The Bake Sale will still happen on Saturday morning. The raffle items will be announced soon and tickets will be available to the public mid-September in the hospital gift shop and at the fundraiser straight through till the winning tickets are drawn at the close of the event on November 3rd.

Monteith says the changes made to the annual fundraiser are in direct response to community feedback over the past few years. “What hasn’t changed is the Auxiliary’s commitment to supporting MGRMC and the opportunity that Christmas House presents to the Gila Valley to lend their support to MGRMC and its Auxiliary by attending and making purchases. All proceeds are used by the Auxiliary to purchase equipment used in patient care.”
