Max Nicholas, of Thatcher, entered into eternal life Thursday evening, February 11, 2016, in Benson. He was 67. Max is preceded in death by: his parents, Clair and Barbara Nicholas; and his granddaughter, Molly. Max is survived by: his wife of 46 years, Donell Mullenaux Nicholas; his daughter, Maxine Taggart (Ian), son, John (Amanda), daughter, Tammy, son, Tommy (Rachel), son, Jimmy (Jamie), son, Jerry (Donna) and son, David (Leah); his grandchildren, Tommy, Jack, and Max Taggart; Oliver, Sam, Adam, Patrick, Joshua and Mariah Nicholas; Cammy, Marleigh, Haley and Joel Nicholas; Rebecka and Wyatt Nicholas; Jovane, Davonte Mitchell and Andre Mitchell-Nicholas; and Lexie Nicholas; and his brother Steve Nicholas. Funeral services for Max will be conducted Thursday afternoon, February 18, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., at the Thatcher L.D.S. Stake Center by Bishop Bret Hunt of the Thatcher First Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Thatcher Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 17, 2016, from 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at the Vining Funeral Home and Thursday afternoon from 3:00 p.m until 3:45 p.m., at the Thatcher L.D.S. Stake Center Relief Society Room.
