Mary Naccarati Daniel, 82, longtime resident of Morenci, passed away in her home July 18, 2015. She was born in Morenci on August 1, 1932 to Carmelo & Matilda Naccarati. Mary was raised in Morenci and graduated from Morenci High School. A few years later she met and married the love of her life, Seldon Daniel.
In 1950, Mary went to work for Phelps Dodge. She loved working at the Employment Office. She served the community with hard work and integrity and made numerous friends along the way. After 50 years, she retired and loved going to the casino with Seldon. In 2000, Seldon passed away. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a valuable member of the community and will be missed by the many people who knew her.
Mary is survived by her nephews; Mike (Linda) Naccarati of Pima, David (Shona) Naccarati of Tucson, John (Jan) Naccarati of Clifton, Mark Naccarati of Show Low, nieces; Cathy (Jim) Walker of Chandler, Patti Naccarati of Phoenix, and Terry (Bob) Bowen of Indianapolis and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Carmelo & Matilda Naccarati, husband, Seldon Daniel, sister, Frances, brothers Frank & Joe, and great-niece Natalie.
Rosary for Mary Naccarati Daniel will be held on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clifton, AZ. Interment will be in the Bunker Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Morenci, AZ 85540.
