Marilyn “Nammie” Larson, age 91, and a lifelong resident of Safford, passed away June 29, 2018, in Gilbert, Arizona.
Marilyn was born in Safford, Arizona on October 12, 1926, to Harry Lorenzo and Ethel Done Payne and was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Marilyn is preceded in death by: her loving husband, Rulon M. Larson; a grandson, Bradley Carter; and Mellani Larson, her daughter-in-law. She was also the last surviving sister of her twelve siblings.
Marilyn is survived by: her ten sons, Greg, of Utah, Britt, of Queen Creek, Stan, of Mesa, Jeff, of Thatcher, Tony, of Gilbert, Tim, of Mesa, Mark, of Gilbert, Shawn, of St .David and their spouses, Trace, of New York and Chad, of Solomon; three daughters, Becky, of Mesa, Kathy, of Gilbert and Tricia, of California and their spouses; 65 grandchildren (56 spouses); 198 great-grandchildren (4 spouses); and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Marilyn will be conducted Friday morning, July 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at the Solomonville L.D.S. Chapel by Bishop Cord Clonts of the Solomonville Ward. Concluding services will follow in the Safford Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home and Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m., at the Solmonville L.D.S. Chapel Relief Society Room.
