Lewis Franklin Wallace

Lewis Franklin Wallace or “Cowboy” as he was known by many, was born March 31, 1951 in Nampa, Idaho, to Frank and Ruth Wallace.

Frank passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford, due to a heart attack.

Frank spent his childhood in Bisbee, Arizona, later moving to Semi valley, California. He graduated from Semi Valley High School in 1969. Following his graduation, Frank married Phyllis Ann Moore. Later that year, Frank enlisted the Army and was stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, where he served as a mechanic. While stationed there, they were blessed with the birth of a daughter, Christina Renee, in 1970. In 1972, after receiving an honorable discharge, frank relocated his family to Nampa, Idaho where there family once again was blessed with the addition of a son, Franklin Dwayne. Frank made his living in construction and remodeling of homes. He loved what he did and took great pride in his work. Frank’s passions were working with wood and raising chickens.

Throughout his life he moved several times going where the work would take him. The last several years settling in Safford.
