Kuther C. Montgomery, age 83, and a resident of Safford, entered into rest Thursday evening, February 25, 2016, at the Mount Graham Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. Kuther is survived by: his children, Paula Craig (Johnny), Linda Weigel (Fred), Tonia Johnson (Stuart), Eunice Vought (Ed), Muriel (Dee) Armenta (Ernie), Monty Montgomery (Kathy), Patsy Barrese (Scott Threadgill); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Kuther was preceded in death by: his wife, Murial; and his daughters, Julie Vickers and Rena Carson. Private family services for Mr. Montgomery will be conducted at a later date.
