Jimmy D. Cabrera, 55, of Safford, passed away September 11, 2016. He was born March 11, 1961 in Morenci, AZ to Severo Cabrera & Marylou Ramirez.
He was the 3rd child of four; Sonny, Rudy, Jimmy & Janet. Jimmy went to school in Clifton until the 12th grade. In 1987 he met Rosie Jurado and they started their family. They were blessed with three children; Jamie, Johnni & Jimmy Isaiah and now has 3 grandchildren with one on the way; Billy, Andrew James, Noah and a baby girl due in January. Jimmy enjoyed his grandkids, welding, yelling, fixing cars, talking with his friends & the great outdoors. He will be missed by all who loved him.
Jimmy leaves behind Rosie Jurado, his three children; Jamie (Alex Cantu) Cabrera, Johnni (Andrew Alvarado) Cabrera & Jimmy Isaiah, 3½ grandchildren; Billy, Andrew James, Noah & babygirl, stepdad; Tony Ramirez, brother; Sonny Cabrera, sister; Janet Cabrera, and many nieces, nephews & cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Severo & Marylou and his brother Rudy Cabrera.
Services for Jimmy will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 with a viewing starting at 6:00 p.m. and Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Interment will be at a later date.
