About Graham County:

Graham County Highway Department provides highway maintenance to county roads including, chip sealing, blading gravel roads and seal coating. This position operates light to heavy equipment, including street rollers, tractors, dump trucks and additional equipment.  You will be part of a stable, established, and yet still growing organization with a great deal of diversification and opportunity to promote from within. Highway Operations Technician II Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED; current CDL (class A) license or Permit with tanker (N) endorsement and able to obtain the CDL driving portion within the first 6 months of employment.  Combination of training and experience that meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position and two years of an equivalent position. Candidates for this position must complete the driver’s license information on the Employment Application at the time the application is turned in, which will allow Graham County to obtain the candidate’s motor vehicle record (MVR). The most recent 39-month period shown on the MVR will be reviewed in accordance with Graham County Policy. The review must show an acceptable driving record prior to any offer of employment being made by Graham County. Employment is contingent upon an acceptable MVR.
