Ila Mae Cluff Howard

Ila Mae Cluff Howard, 92, entered into eternal rest on Sunday May 27, 2018 at her home in Thatcher, Arizona. Ila was born on August 16, 1925 in Modesto, California to Wallace Cluff and Dora Pulsipher.

She grew up in Pima, Arizona with her 9 siblings, Therma Hancock, Vestal Cluff, Vance Cluff, Elda Meadows, Lee Boyce Kight, Varlyn D. Kight, Marvella Anders, Lenora Murphy and Levora Walker. She married Irvin Davis Howard on May 13, 1950 in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Together they had 4 daughters. They lived in Ft. Thomas, Tucson, Pima and finally Thatcher. Ila was sealed to her husband Irvin and her daughters on May 27, 2006.

Ila is survived by her husband, Irvin Howard, her daughters, Linda (Jerry) Brown, Louise (Dan) Welker, Carol (Lark) Hubbard and Nina (Kelly) Fisher 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter, her brother Varlyn D. Kight and her sister Marvella Anders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 siblings and 2 granddaughters, Lark Hubbard and Macie Morris.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018 beginning at 8:30 a.m. with the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Thatcher Stake Center. Interment will follow in the Hubbard Cemetery.
