High School Football schedules are out. Schedules for our local teams are listed below. You can also access each school’s schedule by clicking the Local Sports tab on the main menu, then selecting Football Schedules.
Fort Thomas
The Fort Thomas Apaches will try to build on their 6-3 record from last year. They qualified for and hosted a 1st round playoff game for the first time in years. They will have to get their traveling shoes on this season as they make 3 of the longest trips in the state.

Pima
Pima Head Coach John Bryant will be getting his first look at most of the teams on the 2018 schedule. There will most likely be a bit of an adjustment period for him to to get acquainted with the 11-man game. The schedule as a whole isn’t a tough one, which might be a perfect storm for the ‘Riders this season and with no Week 0 game, they will have an extra week to be ready.

Thatcher
After winning back to back State Championships the Thatcher Eagles didn’t shy away from the best teams around the state in their 2018 schedule. Head Coach Sean Hinton and the Eagles will have to be ready Week 0 when they host rival Morenci to open the season.

Safford
The 2018 varsity football schedule is set for the Safford Bulldogs. First year head coach Eric Hjalmersen will have his work cut out for him with the schedule. Of the 10 regular season games, only Catalina failed to qualify for the playoffs last year and every single team on their schedule finished above .500. This might qualify as the toughest schedule in the entire 3A.
