Detention Officers oversee and monitor the activities of inmates in pod housing, recreation yards, and educational settings. You will be coordinating and monitoring inmate movements, conducting counts, booking, and providing emergency response as needed. Detention Officer Minimum Qualifications:
Requires High School Diploma or GED; the ideal candidate will have prior security, detention, law enforcement or regulatory experience, or any combination of training or experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Applicants must also be able to pass a written exam, physical agility test, and oral interview board and background investigation. On the Job training provided.
