Eleven contestants are scheduled to compete in the fifth round of the Gila Idol preliminaries tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Morenci Club in Morenci. As with prior preliminaries, three contestants will be selected as finalists for the Gila Idol final competition on Friday, March 29th. An alternate and several callbacks will also be selected.

There are no scheduled performances for tonight’s competition but plenty of prizes will be given out while the judges deliberate.
