Bobby Eugene Bryce, Jr., or “Gene” as he was known by all, age 66, a resident of Thatcher and a United States Vietnam Coast Guard veteran, passed into the eternities Sunday afternoon, December 8, 2019, at his residence. Gene was born in Safford to Bobbie and Lorena Bryce on March 11, 1953.
You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he’ll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can’t turn your back on tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he would want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
Gene is survived by: his loving wife, Patsy; his sons, James (Julie) and Patrick (Martha); and his nine grandchildren, Brianna, Tanner, Sebastian, Dante, Romeo, Trinity, Braeden, Andrew and PJ.
In honoring Gene’s wishes, no services will be conducted.
