Fort Thomas standout athlete, Robyn Olivar, has signed with Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas to continue her education and play volleyball.

Fort Thomas Athletics Director Lee Haws beamed with excitement when asked about Olivar. “She’s the type of player a coach loves to coach. She’s talented and she works hard,” Haws said. “Robyn is the type of person that you hope everything works out for. She’s worked hard for everything she has.”

Haws mentioned that Olivar is the first volleyball player to sign at a 4 year University in his 13 years at the school.

HINU is an NAIA school that plays as an Independent, meaning they do not belong to a conference.

Olivar finishes her Fort Thomas volleyball career with 2 1A East All Region awards, a 1A East Offensive Player of the Year award and 1A East Player of the Year award.
