The annual meeting of the Franklin Irrigation District will be held at the Old Rock Church in Duncan at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020.
The water meeting will be followed by an old fashioned stump meeting at noon. The stump meeting will be held at the Duncan Cotton Gin. Some notable political figures will be in attendance, including President Trump’s eastern Arizona liaison, Hannah Bikker. Bikker will be in the area for three days talking to people about issues and concerns that she can take to the president. Congressional candidates from Arizona and New Mexico will also be in attendance.
The event is designed for the whole family. Hotdogs and drinks will be available.
Both events concern water issues and interested parties from Graham and Greenlee Counties are encouraged to attend.
