Francis Edward Murphy, a resident of Safford, entered into rest Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Tucson Medical Center. He was 88.
Ed was born April 24, 1928, in West Virginia. He served his country in the United States Air Force for 30 years, from which he retired in July of 1977. Ed loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.
Funeral services for Mr. Murphy will be conducted Thursday, December 29, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona with full military honors.
