Edna Ann Smith, 84, of San Jose, peacefully passed away at her home on April 15, 2017. She was born December 3, 1932 in Topeka, Kansas to Charles & Alice Fawcett.
Edna graduated from Mitchell College in Statesville, North Carolina in June of 1952. She later met Joseph Lloyd Smith and they soon fell in love and were married on December 13, 1953 in Las Cruces, New Mexico. They were blessed with three children; Alice JoAnn, Nathan Lee and Norman Lloyd Smith. She was a legal secretary by trade and loved to do crossword puzzles.
Edna is survived by her children; Alice JoAnn Smith, Nathan Lee (Tammy S.) Smith and Norman Lloyd (Karen L.) Smith, her seven grandchildren; Alyssa, Tiffany, Clint, Jacob Levi, Jennifer L., Ben R. and Courtney S. Smith and her six great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother and step-father Alice & Bill Henderson and her beloved husband Joseph Lloyd Smith.
A graveside service is planned for Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Graham Cemetery.
